Craig Johnson Design

Craig Johnson Design was established on the South Coast of NSW in 1997.

Establishing itself as a building design practice utilising sustainable practices which provides practical layouts, buildable solutions and energy efficient homes.

Contemporary dual-occupancy white home with twin gabled roofs, glass-fronted balconies and garages below, surrounded by tropical plants and neighbouring houses.

Whether they be in a residential subdivision, rural acreage, on a mountain top or perched on top of a sand dune overlooking the ocean. Our designs have stood the test of time and provided families with great lifestyles. It is always rewarding to design houses for the children of existing clients.

Our biggest driving passion is to design homes which the occupants & families enjoy living in. They must flow. They must be sustainable & energy efficient. They must be a peaceful space bringing the outside in.

Every home is customised to suit the owner’s personal requirements, however, trying to give a client the best value for money is important. Finding that happy medium between champagne and beer is always a challenge.

Over 30 years of designing residential buildings has opened our eyes to many materials, methods and trends. Yes, we push the boundaries but design homes for a lifetime. It’s quite often the tried and trusted simple things which always rise to the top of the idea pile.
